As you may or may not know, the YARG sign has now been changed. Here's a picture of the new one.
Official Yargians know how to create this sign, and the old sign has now been thrown in the trash. Please do not use the old sign anymore or there will be a penalty.

Hello, all! I am professor at Yale University, and I fully approve of this word. It is rich in description, and I use it constantly. I teach yarg class, so I know all about it. Just kidding! Although it is true. To be a bit more precise, I teach English, so I have all the authority to proclaim this a word. Please help to get this word in the dictionary, as I am with my students. Thanks,

ReplyDeleteHey, folks! I live in Texas and my name is Elizabeth. I am a lawyer and I am 42 years old. I passed law school in Michigan twenty years ago, to the day, and I use yarg whenever possible. It really helps me to win my cases, and it's super awesome too. If you don't know what yarg means, you are a Moron with a capital M. You are also a dorke with an e at the end. Learn about yarg if you fit into the Moron or dorke category and if not, just keep on spreading the yarg.

ReplyDeleteI would like to inform you that I am a big fan of you! You have been my model since I was a little kid. My brother liked spider man, but I preferred Yarg. Since I became in love with the word Yarg, I bought every thing I could find that had Yarg on it. T-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, shoes, shorts... everything? I have a few questions that I have been dying to ask you...
How do you become a Yargian? I read that there are only four True yargians, but there can be many, many plain Yargians. I got inspiration to become a Yargian, because my brother went online and became a Spider Scout. So how can I be a Yargian?
How did the Yargians come up with the word Yarg? It must of been very hard... seeing Yarg is so awesome, I mean yargsome.
Does Yarg have a way for me to contact it? Posting something on blogspot won't get Yarg followers totally up to date with the word of Yarg and Yarg news, so does yarg have a face book, or e-mail, or twitter I could use to contact Yarg? I am a very sincere follower of Yarg, and I use it in my daily life... Thank You Yarg! You made my childhood!

That's a very touching story, Hazel Erminty. I am a True Yargian, and you can very easily become a Yargian, although admittedly not a True one. I would have to converse with my fellow True Yargians on the matter, but I think you can just begin saying you are a Yargian, and everyone will believe you. However, as a True Yargian, I give you the blessing of a True Yargian to another attempting to become a Yargian, so you are the closest to a True Yargian that is possible for you. Thank you for commenting on the yargsomeness of me and my friends, and some brains just work differently from others, producing many more yarg waves (or thoughts) than most. To achieve such a high level of yarg waves, you have to be born with a special yargsomeness capacity. But, people can try to boost their yarg waves per minute (ywpm) by being creative and spreading the joy of Yarg throughout the world (and the universe, if you can get that far.) Sadly, yarg does not have a way to contact it other than here, but remember, Yarg is with you wherever you are.

DeleteI am a teacher at LYMS the local middle school. I Find the story of yarg very touching. It shows how four true yargians can introduce something as monumental as yarg into the lives of people and hopefully, someday, into the dictionary. In hope that my students will appreciate the inspiring story of yarg, I assigned a fourteen page essay on the origins, meanings, and the story of yarg's creation. I even change the school's cheer to radiate the importance of yarg.
